Our Process
We understand that building a new home is an exciting, but daunting experience. Our goal to minimise any stress you may encounter on your construction journey.
To make things easier for you, we've broken the process down into six steps:
1.
Initial Consultation
We'll sit down with you to discuss your vision for your commercial space, what kind of features are most important, and your budget for the build. Once we know all those details, we'll pair you with an architect/designer who can best meet your needs—and make sure they understands your ideas & requirements!
2.
Concept & Design
We start working on your brief with the support of our architect. Your concept design and cost estimate are produced here . Before the final designs are completed, a few revisions may be required to accurately capture your vision.
3.
Acceptance of Estimate & Plan
Once you have accepted an estimate, the architect gets underway with planning your commercial space! Once you are satisfied, all necessary contracts/documentation is signed. We then will apply for any necessary council consent.
4.
Design Choices
You will begin selecting the colours and finishes for your commercial space while your plans are awaiting consent. Our interior designers will work with you to bring your ideas to life. Other services such as kitchen, bathroom and landscape design are available if necessary
5.
Project Management & Construction
Once the plans are approved by the Council, and we have a pre-start meeting we start building your commercial space! We will create a project timeline that will be updated on a regular basis. You'll meet with your Project Manager every two weeks and have contractor report meetings. Progress payments will be made as agreed in the contract.
6.
Your Commercial Space is Complete!
Upon completion, we do an initial quality check. You will then be asked to visit and see your new space with the Project Manager. You will then indicate any defects or problems which will be rectified before the handover. Handover will not be complete until you are completely satisfied with the finished product. Once you are happy, your space will be professionally cleaned and your project manager will meet you to handover the keys!
